Taste of the Master Chefs, Inc., is a 501c3 organization, that is committed to raising funds and awareness for hunger relief in America. All proceeds from Taste of the Master Chefs benefit food programs at The Salvation Army of Augusta.
What is a MASTER CHEF?
Master — adjective having or showing very great skill or proficiency
Chef — noun a skilled cook who manages the kitchen (as of a restaurant)
Master Chef refers to those chefs who exhibit the finest culinary talent. In addition, some chefs earn the title of Certified Master Chef.
"The title of Certified Master Chef (CMC), presented solely by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) in the U.S., is the highest level of certification a chef can receive. It represents the pinnacle of professionalism and skill," according to the ACF. There are 68 CMCs in the nation, including Chef Rich Rosendale, a featured chef of TOMC.
